The Board Is Dead.

Well the Steelers won, everyone knows it, and it's great. The best part in the last three years is that every superbowl we have gotten together with a mission to cook a lotta food and eat it. And this year the tradition was kept. I only hope that in the years to come, when I'm not around this school anymore a few things will be continued that we started here at Trent. Like "ninja night" the day before Head of the Trent, suave saturdays, booze made me do it nights, the superbowl food fest... bunch of little traditions here and there.

What day is it today? Sunday? Well I guess technically Monday. I already posted something for Saturday, forgot to mention that I actually managed to wake up early Saturday to play squash with Nick. I am getting really better at it, before I could not serve worth shit, but that has changed and it is decent. So I will keep at it, and have some fun, challenge my accounting prof!

This post is taking way more time to do than it should. I am talking to someone I met on the DQ8 fansite (please click that link), who was selling keychains. Ended up just chatting it up with the person, who happens to be from London, ON and is some asian chick. Right now we're talking about PS1 games. Really cool person. Invited me to go to Anime North with her, and I just might, cause I remember what Jordan told me, you just gotta go for those opportunities when they come.

Speaking of; Jordan sent me something online, apparently he kept all the radio shows he use to do way back in 2001 and 2002 on OnEleven. The show was called Simple Minds, him and this girl Shawna would do this show Thursday nights. I would listen in and interact through ICQ, cause, well, I was in Peterborough doing up pub nights and they were downtown Oshawa. It's interesting to hear it again, I remember being in my rez room, hanging by their every word, wanting to go hang with my roomates but not wanting to leave the computer. It's kinda how it is right now with me listening to Howard Stern, only I can pause Stern seeing that it's downloaded episodes. Anyways, the show he sent me was a trivia of guessing TV shows, one of them was Price is Right, and Shawna made a comment saying "what is he like 90 years old" and when she said that I looked it up on wikipedia as I was listening to the recorded show... sure enough old habits never die as Jordan announced that I messaged through ICQ the correct age of Bob Barker.

It was a weird trip down memory lane, Shawna talking about how she is coming to Trent (which lasted a week when she got here), me saying how much it rules (when I really hate it here now), and talking to Becky online. Someone I met in the glory days of DALnet, from London, ON too actually. I don't talk to her anymore, just one of those internet friends you just don't bother to keep in touch with.

Well I need to get some sleep, waking up early to finish off accounting to hand in for 10:00 tomorrow. Stupid ass accounting.
