I Even Get Turned Down Online...

So the other data cable came in today, doesn't work as great as I thought it would. Kinda sucks actually. On the plus side I was able to manage to get my photos off my cell phone. Sending them all from phone to online ablum would have cost 50 cents a photo and 5 cents a KB. So I saved rougly 30 dollars by spending 10 dollars on this cable. Hopefully I'll be able to get the cable to work again incase I need to take more photos off of it. If it comes to that you know.

Today was nothing really special, woke up in the earlier morn to do some work. Did that all day and handed it in later. Went to accounting today and got great tips for the final exam. Konopaski sent out an e-mail saying if we buy a ticket for this benefit dinner we get an extra 1% towards our final grade. So I managed to get the last ticket hahaha. But it was great cause the food was awesome, nice spicey chicken, some salad, rice... and for dessert some lime sherbet ice cream. Yum. I sat with Will, Brian Patrick, Michael Jack and met this new first year, Rebecca, who sat with us. She's in accounting as well.

I left the dinner early cause after eating they started an auction, and had a guy speaking in that fast annoying auction voice; I mean it is a benefit dinner for fuck sakes. So I said to Rebecca that I feel like I was in a bidding for farm animals. Cause, you know, Canadian farmers gather round buying livestock and bidding on pigs and stuff. She didn't know what I was talking about (she wasn't born here) so I was making gestures while explaining it, and I accidently bid on something in the process. Thankfully someone outbid me and Will brought it to my attention. Another thing that bugged me about the auction is that it's suppose to raise money for a good cause and one of the items was a rabbit fur scarf or something... I mean gross, who the fuck wants to bid on that while eating. Bad karma too!

I think Rebecca was taken aback when I said I hated Trent. I really really wanted to go to Western University, the more americanized style of a University/College. Instead I got stuck with some hippie bullshit. I mean I could have transferred after my first year, but I made some great friends so I guess after it's all said and done, it was worth coming here. Thanks Trent. I have so many memories at this school, but you know, sometimes I still feel like I haven't made my mark. I mean yeah I'm in the yearbooks a lot and stuff, but nothing that screams school glory.

So I have to take the 13:30 bus from Peterborough Greyhound station. Will be getting into Oshawa after about an hour. Hope it's not too cold.

Have a good night all. Peace.
