We Don't Need No Education.

Got to love having a day in the middle of the week where there is no classes. You know a bunch of people message me in a day, and they ask how my day was, what I am up to, what's crackin' ... ok maybe not the last one. But I really got nothing, only that I have no classes today. I sit using my computer chuckling to myself about useless banter. Nothing you'd all get anyways, well maybe Andrew would understand a little bit, he is the only other human being which finds certain things funny.

What did I watch today? I watched the newest Stargate Atlantis, which is greating great! Life On Mars episode 4, amazing. And some WWE crap. Yeah I know I know, it's junk but I still like watching it on occasion.

I made toast this morning, got up at around 10am, I normally am not a man for breakfast, but I was so starving that I had to go for it. Had a pretty good dinner too, fish and baked potato...hmmm. Finished eating that up and Rob's dad came to pick up Rob's sis and cousin, he is such a hilarious guy. He steps into our washroom downstairs, and the dryer is going so the place is steamy as hell... and he says "Man it's like an Ojibwa sweat tent." Then said his vision animal was Rob Blake.

Well this is the last post of January. This blog has made it a whole frickin' month! Yet is seems longer than that. Maybe because I am posting a whole lot more this time around. Well as we journey into Febuary lets all remember a few things. Don't panic, be kind to your fellow human being, don't watch sappy movies cause nothing good can come from it, share your deepest secret with a friend, and the the most important thing to remember:

Comment on my blog! (Kidding!)

I'm A Wreck.

Was so hard to wake up this morning. I was feeling so sick and tired, I couldn't make my 10am. So instead I am going to jump in the seminar that happens on Thursday. I also missed an online quiz, God dammit, it's the first one I missed doing and I didn't remember about it til later on today. On the plus side my HRM class went really well. Finished off the written section for the first decision set in our simulation, put it all together and handed it in. Our second set is due next Monday so I believe our group will meet up on Saturday. In class we learned about Job Analysis and KSAs, and a pop in class exercise was to do one for a business professor. Here comes the brown nosing, you know when I talk about a class in detail that brown nosing is involved. The professor came up to me and Anton and asked if we were done, and I said "yes" so he asked if we want to present, and I said "yes" even though technically we weren't done, but managed to pull it off, and so we presented to everyone.

The rest of the day was preparing for our 410 assignment, though I am unsure about what we are going to do about the government sector for our management interviews. I would normally want to do OPG, where my dad works, but it's a grey area as to whether it is government sector. See OPG came in during the Harris administration as MP of Ontario to start a newly private/public hydro campaign later taken over by Ernie Eves... but somehow stupid people voted in Dalton McGuinty, and thus the private company could no longer be private... but it bought the plant... so what does that mean? It means the Ontario government is the only stakeholder of the private company.

BTW you aren't stupid for not wanting private hydro, but Dalton is a liar and weasel, you could have voted NDP.

Other than that I was listening to last Friday's Howard Stern radio show, I download the episodes that occur on satellite radio... I think I mentioned this. Well this episode was hilarious as they were doing sort of their own version of a celebrity roast. Pure gold. I would consider Sirrius Canada, but as I was listening to the show on the 23rd, Canada's CRTC won't allow an uncensored Howard Stern to be available... even though it's not a public transmission. Here I was thinking that Canada was so much better than the states, but can you believe that crap. I guess the CRTC is worried that American talk radio would undermine quote, unquote Canadian talent. Oh well, at least I can download Howard Stern, fuck you CRTC.

Man what else happend to me today... I was thinking about last Saturday, walking back home with Leanne, Marisa, Ant, and Kelly... how fun it is sometimes to be around people here at Trent. You know people ask me what I am going to do after school and somehow I always manage to squeek out something. But to tell ya the truth, they are all ideas and I really can't invision myself doing something. Yes I could do information systems as a manager or consultant, yes I could run a LED speciality business if I did more research, I could be a lawn care boy for the rest of my days, I could do this and that... but I really don't invision it. You know what I mean? Do you get the difference? All I invision if me playing video games, trying to be a rockstar, or developing websites for stupid things.

Yeah you heard me, stupid things, like today on the bus I don't know if you know this but about 65% of the people on the bus have headphones on. Our society is full of a bunch of people who don't want to talk to you. And I thought about a website of asking those people: what they are listening to. And then that brings up the option of sort of a indie review, mainstream review, what current, top 10 sort of deals.. then you get advertisers blah blah blah. Trust me, I have worse ideas.

Oh if you're wondering, I was listening to The Killers on my MD player.

Hell I'd Do...

Well it looks like it's going to be an early morning tomorrow, and a long ass day. As I have work to finish up and classes to attend. Then the house has to have a meeting of sorts.

I kept true to my word and I have not used a .torrent in days. I am so proud of myself hahaha, I am actually going back to my roots of usenet and loving it. Found an awesome groupserver (a.b.d.midnightmovies) which is all old horror like films. Downloaded a DVD-R of Laserblast, which is a masterpeice of a movie. Rob loved it too. Also been downloading TV episodes off other groups avoiding the stupid seeder to leecher ratios on .torrents, and even subscribed to a group that contains howard stern satellite radio shows. I am currently downloading last Fridays show.

Nothing really exciting happend today though, just did a lot of chatting online, ordered a pizza, stayed in watched some stuff. Blah blah blah. I made my bed so that my pillow is at the foot of the bed, kinda a switch around sort of deal, I'll let you all know how that turns out.

Man what the fuck am I writing about, ok time to get some sleep.

LOL!

Yeah I forgot to post something in the last post here. It was a funny occasion that happend at the Junction that I remembered and thought to share with you all. So I was in the washroom at the Junction, washing my hands, and Joe's brother Chris comes in and is like:

"Hey man, I see you dyed your hair, looks good."
"Oh, thanks dude."
"Where did you get it done?"

At the point I'm about to tell the truth, and I look around at all the other guys in the room quickly and said:

"Oh, just some place in Oshawa."

I thought it was funny because the truth of the matter is my Mom did my hair. And it's funny to think if I did say that instead of the lie with all those people in the washroom.

Pure Morning.

So I wake up on Saturday morning and I feel like crap. I must have got a cold from that one night coming back from SFL when it suddenly turned extremely freezing outside. I packed and me and my brother were off and I returned to the borough. It was very mild that afternoon which was nice, it made me lust for the warm weather that will be coming in a couple of months. Maybe I'll get that job as a helper for the lawn care company again, one thing I loved about the job is being outside all day.

So once I get to Peterborough the first thing I do is call up people to see if anyone is going to Junction, and surprise surprise they are. It was a little weird though, me and Kelly got there early and I was having pains all over and was short of breath. Kinda scary stuff; I didn't drink anything the whole night, just had a bottle of water. I ran into some friends there too and that's always night to have people to dance with, some were worried that they'd cramp my style lol, it's not the case though cause I don't pick up strangers at the bar anymore. This one girl that was a friend of a friend was really smokin, and I inquired about her, but ends up she had a boyfriend.. and he was there that night too, nice dude. Such a shame though, nicest ass I have seen in a long time, and that same girl was patting and squeezing my butt cheeks all night, talk about a tease. One girl was trying to hit on me, I think, but her "pick-up line" was to tell me I'm very cute... but because I'm short.. and cute. I suppose I should be use to it now, even my dad calls me a short ass even though I'm taller than him.

The DJ was so off that day though, he started off with playing some pretty nice hip hop... then all of a sudden he plays Fall Out Boys, and that's when it went south. He then switched to some pretty extreme techno, which turned into country, which turned into old 90s house/dance.. and at the ending hours of the night he went back to hip hop. I liked the 90s house/dance though that stuff with pretty fly, and he's the best to play it cause he was the DJ for Illusions night club in Oshawa way back then.

Woke up this morning and watched The Matador. Have a DVD screener that a friend gave me. It was a pretty good movie. It wasn't anything special though, but it was good.

Well it's snowing here in Peterborough, and I know that it is still green grass in Oshawa, only a few more months to go though, then I'll never have to come back to Peterborough again.

Well, until I need to get some old books and cheap video games.

Can't Keep Up.

There is so many things I wanted to put up here, but the constraints of travelling and frolicking around is holding me back. I gave up the whole .torrent thing, many of you know that I had various websites that I went to which allowed me to download TV episodes and such in case it was missed. Well I went back to my roots and started using usenet again. I no longer am a .torrent guy, gave it all up, except for in case I need to fill broken posts on usenet with mininova, and I still use anime-supreme because I trust their encodes and users.

Yesterday I went out with a good friend, former roomate too, to see the movie Syrianna. The movie, well, I would like to say it was good. Just something about it that was hard to explain. Too difficult of a story, a lot of boring parts inbetween the intense parts... I wouldn't recommend anyone to see it. Afterwards we joked that it really didn't feel like we watched something... what the hell happend? If someone asks me sometime if I've seen that movie, I would probably say no. Not for a joke, but because I really won't remember seeing it.

You know, talking to my friend made me come to a realization. Expectations. It's hard to explain but I always thought about University as the place to meet someone, someone to have a future with down the road. And it's almost Feburary now, soon I will be leaving this school for good. Then what? You know? I guess I shouldn't worry about it too much but I would just hate if after school, the one I can't wait to get out of, turns out to be a big disappointment.

Well I think my stay in Oshawa is going to be shorter than anticipated. I am returning to Peterborough today. So I guess I will see you all at the Junction.

Yay.

Green Grass Running Water.

Was way too cold to go to class on thursday. Minus 23C or something like that. Plus I found out that my accounting assignment that I'm stressin' over is not do the monday coming up, but rather the 6th of Feburary. So I have a lotta time to go see Konopaski to look it over.

Me and Adam ended up going to NetWok for come Chinese buffet; all you can eat sort of deal. Was not too bad... ok it was pretty bad. The chow ming tasted like shit, so I put some soy sauce on it, and the sauce was way too salty. The mushrooms had oyster sauce on them (which apparently is common) so bum that. The shanghi noodles were crap, chicken fried rice was cold. Man I don't know why everyone says that place is good, cause honestly it is complete shit. But it was fun anyways. Whatever.

Was totally bored thursday night, ended up visiting a friend to watch War of the Worlds, Kelly showed up too which was cool, he's bummed out that I am not going to be there for the re-opening of the Junction this Saturday. But I really wanted to go home, and well here I am :D Back in the dirty shwa. No snow what so ever, it's so weird. I haven't been back since Christmas break and it feels like spring over here, which is a big change from the cold wind and icey/snow filled Peterborough.

Anyways my shaggy top is getting a cut, so I'll add more later.

Peace.

Man That Sucked.

So I finished walkhome around 12:45am, and I get home, and you know it's really nice outside, was maybe -6C with a little wind once and a while. So I head out to Second Floor Lounge cause it was my fifth (unofficial) roomate: Mira's birthday and that's where everyone was. It was pretty nice I have to say, the bartender, someone who would probably treat me unfair if he knew who I really was, was giving me Corona before I could order them. Maybe he does know who I am. He's the same guy who I got into an arguement with over our partnership for ADMN410. Another awesome occurance needs a little background story.

I love to brag about my musical taste once in a while, well last Saturday I went up to the DJ and requested "Fuck You" by Dr. Dre. He didn't play it. You wanna know why? Cause he probably never listened to that song before. Well today at the bar guess what comes on the speakers. "I just wanna fuck bad bitches..." That's right, "Fuck You" by Dr. Dre. He also played some pretty sweet old school songs, it was pretty nice.

Ok so me and Kelly left SFL around 2am... it was hard, the guy did not want to leave. Got to love Kelly but seriously man, "Area Codes" by Ludacris is not a reason to stay at the bar, that song sucks. Went to City Lights, got some fries. Going not so bad right? Well if you've been outside today, you can guess how cold it got last night. When I went to the bar it was -6C out, it went down to -13C when coming home with a windchill feeling like -20C... I had no toque or gloves. I ran from Hunter and George all the way home with my fries in my hand. I was so exhausted, and so cold, I swear I could have got frostbite.

I ended up watching Just Like Heaven last night too, they should really warn you that certain movies are chick flick movies. It was actually an interesting concept and good acting. But the ending was classic chick flick-esque. Stop reading if you don't want a spoiler. But as her spirit returns to the body and wakes from the coma, she can't remember anything that happend while haunting the main character. And guess what, she remembers... dragged out... stupid. I guess I am just bias cause I love better love stories like in Lost In Translation. What an awesome film.

Ok well I better great started on my day, already starting to get late.

Peace.

I Nearly Cried.

So there I am at the mailboxes waiting for my partner for Walkhome. No one arrives. I call in and they said the person didn't call saying they were going to be late so they were able to get someone to fill in her spot. Guess who. Yeah there is a reason why I am sitting here right now during my walkhome shift and not hanging around my partner.

While waiting for my partner I cam across a poster with important dates that us as students should know about. Feb 3rd.. deadline for application/special permission for Spring convocation. Fuck. That is really soon and I still have no idea if I want to go or not. Oh man. If only Stephen Brown, my academic advisor, would not be so damn hard to get an appointment with I would talk to him about it. I'll phone the champlain office tomorrow, or pop in to see if I can make an appointment next week sometime.

So I met with one of my group members for 223 today, pretty much the only thing I've done today, and it was amazing. We actually managed to get through the first decision set in HRM within an hour and a half. Done. And we are under budget! Barely. So that is a huge weight off the shoulders for things due next week. I can concentrate now on 410 and accounting.

Speaking of accounting, I need to get some of that done.

Peace ya'll.

So Much For The Day Off.

Last week my 317 (retail marketing) prof told us that there will be no classes next Wednesday, so I'm thinking: sweet! And then yesterday during my recovery from monday night I find out that my morning class is post-poned til next week. Sweeter! So I figure two days off. Well ends up to be not the case as in a little while I'll be heading to campus to meet with my group for 223H, so that I can go home this weekend, and I also received a call from Walkhome asking if I could fill in a shift. I didn't see it as a problem because I won't be working with Megan Davis, my regular partner. Some new girl this time that I haven't met, the last chick I worked with was pretty cool, so I have hopes this time too. My regular shift time would be next friday, and Megan won't be doing it with me, so I guess they are trying to find someone to work with me for a change :D

Watched the third episode of Life On Mars, you know, I really enjoy this TV show from England, but I have no idea where it will go. How long will the main character be in a coma for? Oh well, guess I should just enjoy it as it is right now.

Yeah so as I mentioned above I'm heading back to Oshawa this weekend, it was kinda an iffy decision because this saturday is the re-opening of the Junction, the hottest place in Peterborough (sad isn't it?). But I figure it would be nice to go back home as I haven't been there since Christmas break.

Maybe I can get some laundry done, our dryer here works 50% of the time.

Well that's it for now.

Don't Look At The Pictures.

Well you all know about my plan to go to Sin City on Monday. It was a success. I was completely and utterly shitfaced. It was everything I hoped it would be, and everyone had a really fun time. Unfortunately one member could not attend, Kelly was AWOL that night, I tried calling him but he did not make it out with us.

I suppose I could go on with the details... I don't know, bits and peices are still coming back to me as I talk to people, I was not in the best state of mind and I am still hungover right now.

Night started out with Jordan and Peter coming over from Oshawa. Thanks so much for coming guys you're awesome! Tammy also made an early appearence too, and so we were all sitting watching basketball... to make it worse it was Raptors basketball. I paced around talking to people and I knew that somehow we needed to get this party going so it came to me like a bolt of lightning. "Hey who wants to play poker?" Everyone got up and set up poker in the adjacent room for a $5.00 game, so then I put on a GameCube that Tammy brought over using the TV. Perfect, things picked up. And as more people came it flowed nicely. Congrats to Jordan for winning the first game, and to Leanne for winning the second. I wasn't there to witness her victory though cause I was already on route to Sin City.

Rob and Adam came back from kickboxing, could not get me beer cause the store was closed so we just split on the 2-4 that was already in the house that Adam bought. Tammy wasn't sure about coming out but I managed to convince her. Jordan and Leanne couldn't come cause of a 10am class but it was awesome that they came over too. And met two of Adam's friends Kristen and Nicole, awesome chickas.

Well on our way to Sin City, Jordan entrusts me with the digital camera, and so I'm taking lots of pictures, they turned out pretty good. I don't feel like showing any of them on here though hahaha but they are funny, lots of kissing, and weirdness.

Another funny thing that happend was running into Linda Slavin, the NDP canditate for Peterborough, on the way to the bar. I shouted in a drunkeness "Hey I voted for you! We'll win next time!!" It was funny, later on in the night Jordan was shouting in City Lights "Who here voted NDP?! Did you vote NDP!?" hahaha. Jordan, being an avid reader of this blog, was introduced to Night Kitchen... a place often mentioned in here. But it was closed so he could not taste the pizza this time.

So in the end it was a good night, I don't wanna go on more about the details. I'll just say that after I left the bar, I was ignorant, and I apologize for everything I did do, may have done, I was not myself.

Peace :)

All Hail Drunkeness!

I got out of the house and voted today, it was pretty easy, just had to bring in my lease of the place I rent in Peterborough and then vote (obviously). I voted for NDP in Peterborough, I liked the candidate, I liked some of the NDP platform, so it wall went well.

Also ran into my good friend Kalyn. I have not seen her in a long while, was nice to talk to her. When I first came to Trent I didn't know anybody, so the first day I went for dinner at the Great Hall and asked these two ladies if I could sit with them, and Kalyn was one of them. But I felt like such a boob afterwards though cause I should have got her number or e-mail to keep in touch... fuck... oh well maybe I'll still see her around Peterborough if fate would have it.

Well right now I'm waiting for my boyz to arrive from Shwa, with them they bring good tidings and my leather jacket/blazer, sweet :D We are going to get so drunk.

Ok well started watching 24. If you want a good time, come out to Sin City tonight, see ya there!

Sin.

Yeah I haven't posted in a while, I hear your complaints... I was so not ready to go to class today. Those 10am mornings are rough lemme tell ya. I was up pretty late the night before to make things worse, but that laundry had to get done. I reset my alarm for later, already thought of an excuse not to go... but some how from the powers that be, I managed to rise and make it to campus.

After accounting I browsed through some of the posters at the poster sale before heading to my final class of the day, HRM. While I was walking there I was walking up the library steps and I was kinda reminising about how many times I must have walked up and down these particular steps in my university career. Thought about the concerts at my school sitting there with friends, snow shovelling too... soon it will be all over and I'll be moving on from Trent. Another thing that struck me today is the fact that this is my first semester ever that I don't have a course with Stephen Regoczei. The first... and we are talking nine semesters having him as a prof. Certainly a change.

HRM class was pretty good today, cause it was short. We got one more group member too which is good. I don't know, I think me and my partner were doing ok by ourselves.

After that I hung out with Nancy and Ally.. I think that's how you spell her name.. for a while, foregoing taking the bus right away. Big plans tonight, Sin City, I told a lot of people, but, you know, it's Monday and a lot of people have school, so luckily I was able to convince a good sum of people to come out tonight, which is great! Oh yeah, I bought a couple posters too, one of Kurt Cobain, the other of Jack Johnson. The poster I really wanted was a movie poster of Lost in Translation.. but it was sold out when I went up to get it. I want that poster now.

I'll add some more stuff in a later post.

The Complete Day.

"Wake.... wake...."

Eyes wide, I looked left, I looked right. I was awake from one of the strangest dreams I've had in my life. Nearing the end of the dream I hear someone whisper the word "wake" to me, which woke me up. I had a weird dream where I was sent back in time to the year 1982 (I'm assuming) because I visited my pregnant mother. Yeah then we get into a car accident falling into a river... anyways it was so weird. This whole week has haunted me with weird dreams, and some SP. It's totally freaking me out. I had another one of my classic dreams where I am in a store or some sort buying weird video games for obscure consoles... or consoles I own but with different packaging. One game was a Canadian parlament game where you run the country. I have the video game dream a lot, not sure what it means. Oh yeah, and I had another dream where I had polio like The Bunny Goddess.

Also went to campus at around 15:00 hours for the group meeting, which went very well, we got pretty much the first assignment done. Just waiting for his e-mail and I can do up a sample table.

Played another triple threat ladder match in No Mercy. It's getting pretty tough to win now, my record now is 5-1-4, the 4th tie in a row. I was so close to victory, like a second away. I was starting to climb the ladder to grab the breifcase then Scott knocked it down. Scott is 1-5-4 and Cedric is 0-6-4.

Kelly then came over and we headed to Pete's Subs for some grub, played some of those arcade games and headed to SFL. Both me and Kelly agreed that it would be so nice if Junction was around. I mean, SFL is ok don't get me wrong, but there was something about Junction dispite it's shitty music and routine atmosphere. The thing that was different is there was always just something about meeting people there and having fun. This past month of so made me appreciate having a place like the Junction in this shit town.

I would have left SFL earlier cause I had a headache, except I paid $5.00 dollars for cover and coat check. Bullshit.

But it was still fun.

The Undertaking...

So my night was very productive I must say, I spent it burning loads of stuff onto DVD-Rs to free up space on my hard drive. I have managed to free up around 20 GBs so far, which really isn't much considering I have a 120 GB hard drive, but one step at a time and I'll eventually free up more. I also finally found a solution to a problem I've had for years: completing a MAME set.

MAME is arcade emulation, you know those big arcade machines you see, it's really great to load up to play all those classics. Well it so happens to be one of the most frequently updated emulator, if not thee most. And I have not had a complete set since version 0.59. Which was obtained on IRC. Well fast forward about 5+ years to now, everything is done on .torrent and currently I am downloading the complete 0.103 set at blazing speeds. So when it's done, who is up for a round of King of Figthers '99? >:)

What else have I done... well I managed to clean out most of the garbage around here. It sounds a lot worst than it really was, but now all I have to worry about is organizing the room and clean it up and laundry of course. Then I can have a fresh start for the week.

Tomorrow morning however I will need to work on 223H a little bit more because I am meeting my only group member left tomorrow at 3:00pm (15:00 hours). It's kinda stupid how the prof did that, he gave everyone numbers, and then whoever shared a similiar number were a group. But some of the people in class couldn't get permission, so a lot of groups (including mine) is breaking apart and losing direction.

Got to love stupid Trent profs.

So Little Time.

Well me and Adam ventured to the elections Canada office on Charlotte street, was a run down place, kinda sketchy. I have to bring my tennat lease with me to the polling station in order to vote, so it looks like that's what's going to happen, and I'll be voting for a Peterborough MP. Sorry Peterborough, hope my 1 vote doesn't fuck you up too badly.

Day went by too fast though, now it's around 6:00pm, and all I have done is some work on 223H, and watched Viva La Bam. I watched the Mardi Gras episodes and it makes me wanna do a road trip so badly. I have never done such a thing yet, and it seems like such a fun experience.

Tomorrow looks like it's going to be some sort of partying, a mini-party if you will, and I hope it turns out good.

I think Monday is still on for sure, have to see.

Friday.

I woke up so many times today, damn alarm clocks going off all over this house. I guess Scott had to get up early for a test. Rob had to get up early to leave for home. Me? Yeah I didn't HAVE to get up early, but I certainly couldn't sleep when everyone was just hitting their snooze buttons.

So I walked to Macs and got some orange juice, and by some I mean a lot hahaha. Yeah for some reason I wanted a carton of OJ, but I had to get a bottle for the walk back, otherwise I'd be dipping into the carton, and that would have just looked rediculous as I'd be walking back home.

Then the rest of the morning was just talking to people online, catching up on the O.C. , and then watching some Viva La Bam. I mention Viva to a lotta people, but no one has ever heard of it, but they know all about Jackass. Let me tell ya, Jackass has nothing on CKY and Viva. But Knoxville is pretty funny. The Jackass cast is doing something else on MTV2 called WildBoyz... it's alright I guess... they travel over the world making themselves puke and do funny things with animals. I've only seen two episodes and I liked the section of the killer whales attacking the sea lion pups, man those whales are vicious. Another thing I thought was really cool was the shot they did in Thailand. Shot as in alcohol, snake blood and snake bile. Man I'd love to do that.

So you may be asking what my voting situation is. Well I know I had the chance to do advance polling in Oshawa, but I couldn't be bothered cause I really just wanted to sit around and play Dragon Quest VIII. So I found out I could register in Peterborough and vote here. But weeks went by and I couldn't have been bothered. So I'm going with plan C, which is to show up and ask if I can vote, show my identification, if they say "no" then I'll say "ok, fuck it, see ya". If I can vote in Oshawa I'd vote for Colin Carrie (Conservative), if I can vote for Peterborough I'll for for Linda Slavin (NDP).

Ok that's it for now.

California.

Well despite my best efforts, I missed the O.C. again. But I really don't mind, I never catch it, and there is always a good reason for missing it. Plus if you know me, you know that I just download TV episodes instead of actually timing myself to watch it on cable. Which is far better practice, cause you can go about your day not worrying about things, then download episodes and watch them as your chat online.

Right now the shows I'm watching besides the O.C. is Life On Mars, which is a bizarre BBC1 show that is so well done and fascinating, Stargate Atlantis which is way better than SG-1, even though it doesn't have Gary Dean Anderson... you know... MacGyver. It's more scientific, has a great storyline, and just recently they got the guy who played "Trip" on Enterprise. I've started with 24, but I never make it through an entire season. Viva La Bam of course. And I'm kinda watching Jake In Progress, though I think that it will lose it's appeal eventually.

Finally met someone that I met online in person. Really cool, went out to Hasselton's for coffee. I didn't have my leather jacket but my ugly Columbia, toque hair.. what else? Dead bored from Accounting. But with her work schedule, probably would have been the only time I could have seen her hahaha. So it was really cool, she's really awesome.

Yeah but it was weird because I was waiting for the bus and Konopaski offered a ride to me downtown. The guy I use to hate with a passion. Ends up he is a big baseball/football fanatic like myself... really strange how that works out, the people you use to hate ends up to be so much like you.

Maybe it's an occurance that's only happend to me... who knows.

Probably Would Have Been More Interesting.

Huge ice storm today, I guess my dad to his credit was smart by ducking out early to come back from work to avoid the ice storm that approached. Haven't heard if my brother made it back ok yet though, but I'm sure the lug is ok. As soon as Rob came back from school we went out around our area with the original intent to watch cars come sliding down the intersection of Stewart and London. But we missed the show apparently, but I'll get to that later. So instead we walked up the up street (more difficult as it sounds), which took us about 20 mins which would normally be 2. Helped out drivers the best we could to get their cars onto the roads. There was a Trent Express bus stranded on top by Dublin street, so me and Rob went up and talked to him, offer to get him food or to use my cell phone. He was sitting there for two and a half hours, and he witnessed a couple accidents at that intersection of a truck smoking a car. We saw the end result for the car.

Then we went on our way, and low and behold there is Dublin street, which is really steep. Of course Rob just runs down the street wearing skater shoes... something I should have put on. So I decided to slide down the sucker too... I'm wearing boots with pretty good traction, probably saved my life in the end because as I'm sliding down I start to notice something. Something that began to worry me. I was picking up speed. So then you can imagine me going down this hill yelling "Oh shit! Oh shit!" waving my arms about, trying to get my footing and worrying about stoping at the same time. I didn't fall thank god, and I got to the bottom of the hill huffing and puffing.

So I'm hoping that there is a snow day tomorrow because I really don't want to go to my ADMN 410 class. Last week all the prof talked about was non-sense. Asking students if they drove and when they said yes, asked them why they didn't use some rediculous alternative. "Oh you drive... well... there is a bus that goes to Lakefield in the morning, and comes back in the evening... you could take that bus." No you can't you fucking idiot, that is a fucking hour bus ride, it doesn't even drop you off where you want to go, there is about another hour buffer time, you're fucking stranded in Peterborough cause you only have 2 or 3 hours that day. Honestly if he was making a point I did not see one.

What was he talking about anyways, the course is suppose to be about management. What the fuck, I'm all confused now... thank God there is no final in that class.

Anyways I beat Klonoa. As a result it opened up two more "visions" for me to explore and defeat. Once I finish of Klonoa I have to get back to Zelda. Then I have to worry about getting a new GBA game.

Ok, if I'm going to make this 9:00am class I need some sleep.

It's A Bittersweet.

Weirdest dream last night. Had a dream where I recorded some song of a friend's band, and it was the most rockin' tune ever. And when I woke up, I couldn't remember the lyrics or notes or anything. Kinda sucks.

Last night was pretty fun, got to have my marathon of staying up rediculously late, because I don't have any class today. None! So it's around 13:00 hours now, I'm just chillin here reading some stuff online. Check this out, an easy way to fold tshirts, took me a little while to figure it out. Want a hint? Make sure your left hand goes under your right, or vice versia. Also looked at an interesting game by Moonpod games called WarAngels or something. It's being released in 2006.

Other things I did last night, well I drew on the new binder I got yesterday for all my class notes. Did a graffiti theme and it turned out great, I didn't think I'd even be able to draw that kinda stuff.

Ok that's it for now, peace yo.

Oops Forgot.

Well Sunday was pretty much a rehab day after partying all night on Saturday. Probably the best thing that happend was watching the Steelers win a close game to make it to the AFC championship. Later that night me, Cedric and Scott went to Subway, met up with Kelly. I love going to that Subway on Water and Parkhill to just eat a sub and chat away. Ever since they remodelled the place it's been the thing to do. Looks so nice inside.

Afterwards me and Ced braved the frickin' cold weather and walked back. And the next morning I woke up looking for my school bag, and it was no where to be found. I thought I might have left it over at Subway. Fuck. Well I called and it wasn't there. So I get to school and made it for my 10am accounting class. This useless fuck was trying to yap about what he thinks is right, I wanted to shove his face into the wall. Stupid first years. That class went really fast though.

Then I wen to HRM at 12.. man what a LONG ASS class, that Ed Ng guy talked for 2 hours straight, and it really wasn't that interesting. But it was funny the 80s film the showed on the Royal Bank where a boss is saying at a retirement party that he regrets not hiring a woman who could make a decent pot of coffee hahaha. I know it's sexiest, but it's funny ok? Unfortunately we couldn't pick out our own groups for the class. And the one fucker tells me the same day that he couldn't get permission to take the course. Fuck. Stupid fucking students. So the other two better hold out. One of them looks familiar for some reason.

Came back home and my school bag was on my chair. I'm thinking I'm going nuts. But it was in Scott's car the whole time. Hahaha.

Well no classes tomorrow! I kinda like having the Tuesday off, tonight I am just going to stay up rediculously late. Peace yo :D

So Much For French Toast.

Nothing went right last night I tell ya. The originally plan was to hang out with a buddy, and I'd bring over a crew of my friends, and then we all get trashed together. Plans changed so I thought, ok, I'll just bring people over here to party. Plans changed and only Kelly could come. So I thought, me and him could head over to that keg party a little late. Well one thing led to the other and we didn't leave the house til like midnight. So plans changed again and we ended up hitting up second floor lounge. Well that turned out to be a good thing cause Rob and Cedric ended up there after getting trashed at the keg party, and we all had an awesome time.

Lots of youngins though at the start, I wonder why bars let them in, fake IDs are so painfully obvious. But I guess if you don't get caught letting them in you can make money, very dangerous practice though. Once their bedtime came about they all left and it was a lot better. Jordan, I wish you were there when the DJ played Still D.R.E. that was so awesome. Later in the night they spun some good house music too, so awesome.

I drank some Strongbows and Guinness that night, a pretty good combination I have to say. For some reason when I buy the tallboy cans of Strongbow I get trashed a lot faster. The Guiness was ok, I like "Murphy's" better though. While drinking me and Adam chilled watching Universal Soldier, what a great film hahaha.

So last night, after everything is done, having a good bud with Ced and Scott, we thought it was a great idea to wake up early to have french toast at Wimpys. Yeah, didn't happen. Was a great idea at the time. I managed to wake up at 8:30 to download a .torrent of an old 70s mob film. Odd how I have trouble doing the same for classes. I think it's about 80% done right now, I wanted to get it once my wait time was over cause I might be able to get my ratio up a lot at torrentbytes.

Anyways that's it for now, I'll post later tonight.

Nobody For A Beer.

Finished Walkhome just now, went pretty well, the partner I had was really cool we got along great. Ended up just chillin' at my house watching Viva La Bam with the rest of the guys. Boy can she talk though, yap yap yap, I tell ya. So I'm all done right now, ready to fucking party, and everyone is heading to bed. What the fuck? So here I am on a friday night just sitting here typing my God damn blog.

I have a weird itch to collect Gameboy games. Scott gave me a few regular old Gameboy games which work on my GBA. Been playing them and now I want Gameboy games. I remember playing the old Pokemon on the Gameboy emulator back in the day. I'll see if I can score a copy of the actual cart. Maybe some Dragon Quest Monsters too, hmmm :)

Well I really don't have much else to say. Maybe doing a local gathering tomorrow for some drinks. Message me.

Say It Out Loud!

Well marks finally have all arrived, and I have an 82% final grade average. That is, not including my midterm grades. Which is good cause my accounting mark was less than diserable. As long as I get that 60% though. So 82% as an average, does that mean anything at Trent University? Dean's list? Honour roll? Ah who cares anyways, I just want to get out of this damn school.

Yesterday was pretty interesting, went to see the Accounting prof and TA about my mark and stuff I can do to improve. The prof was nice enough to let me come take my assignments to him to check um over before handing them in. That will help me out a lot. Also mentioned to him the squash league that me and Nick are running and he was definitely interested in that. And you may be thinking, is this the same prof that I hated? Yeah. But I finally see things through his eyes about what happend. Oh well.

So I'm organizing a trip to Sin City for a Monday coming up. Was thinking the 23rd of January. We can vote and then get trashed out of our minds. Speaking of voting, I tagged along with Melissa to check out the MP debate for the Peterborough riding. The candidate for the Green Party, Brent Wood, was actually well spoken and had some great ideas. Of course it's still a trend to vote according to who you don't want to win... e.g. don't want Sid Ryan to win in Oshawa, vote for Colin Carrie. I might vote for Brent Wood for Peterborough.

Well in exactly one hour I am doing a fill in shift for Walkhome. Luckily it is a different girl than the one I am usually stuck with. Have to see how this goes.

Earlier today... much earlier... I played squash with my buddy Nick, and I think I am getting my serve to be fairly reasonable. Just need more practice.

God damn it was early though.

I Really Don't Know.

Last night was alright fun I guess. Ended up going to Gertis with Adam and Kim for a bit of the night before heading back to go to SFL with Cedric and Kelly. Second Floor Lounge, hmm, ok let me set the record straight, I've been in love with that bar since September when just me and Ced or Scott would go there. Maybe because they had the patio open or something. But going there last night, hmm, I don't know, it just didn't feel too good to be there. I know I want to do up a Monday night at Sin City cause Jordan can make it and I have no class on Tuesday, but other than that, there isn't really a bar I want to go to anymore.

Been playing a lot of Klonoa on my GBA lately, puts me to sleep at night. It's the first platforming I bought for the system, I otherwise have all RPGs (if you consider Zelda a RPG and not an Adventure game). I went by a rule where I wouldn't buy a GBA game until I beat the previous, cause you know, they're easy to beat on GBA. But I had to trade in DW4XL for something, and this was really the only option worth it. Haven't beat Zelda yet, it's really a chore to beat that game. But there are extra stuff added in the game which is really cool. My next purchase will be Final Fantasy 4 Advance. Can't wait to play that one.

So anyways, at 2nd Floor Lounge, another problem I was running into was a difference in lifestyle. There was a girl on the dance floor, hot, eyeing me and dancing near me. And I couldn't find myself to go talk to her, what's up with that? I'd normally be all over it. I think Kelly might have an explaination, but I don't wanna hear it.

Then today I was woken up by my cell phone, I'm like, oh God not the parents again. They just had me for TWO WEEKS why do they keep calling me. Anyways, it was Walkhome asking to fill in a shift for Friday night, I'm like ok sure, cause you know the whole I don't wanna go to bar thing happend to me really fast. And ends up my walk home partner is not Megan Davis who I appaul when I have to work with her. Some girl named Kate. Guess I'll see how it goes.

Well So Much For That.

"According to your opinions on the issues, you will vote for...The Bloc Quebecois."

Obviously I can't vote for them, oh well, I thought that was really funny. You should check this website out if you are unsure about who to vote for.

The Ideas, Oh, The Ideas.

So my travels downtown were successful. Managed to sell my copy of Dynasty Warriors 4 XL for 15 dollars store credit, and I picked up Klonoa 1 for GBA. Nice trade. Cause the DW4XL game is only an expansion game so it is really only good if you own DW4. Which I don't. And I can acquire DW4 for computer so it really works out quite nicely. Also got a mic stand downtown, this music store had everything, cost me seriously only $20 dollars after tax for the whole thing, it's heavy (very stable), it extends out pretty far up, and my Sony mic goes in good. Only thing I wish it had was being able to lean forward. Oh well.

So now I can record onto MDs using this mic and stand without worrying about all the noise caused by the sensitivity of the mic. Got me thinking about what I can do with it.

Also went into Blue Streak to see if my vinyl record I ordered came in, he assured me that they will call me when it's in. That's cool. I couldn't resist picking up a Jack Johnson vinyl though. That baby is going up on the wall next to the Michael Jackson vinyls.

Tonight I can't be staying up as late as the previous two nights cause I have a 9:00am class in the morning. That's fine though, only problem is that jerk of a partner I had before Sam will be there, hope he doesn't talk to me.

Waiting For Something.

Yeah bright sunny day out right now, and I'm just chillin in my room waiting for Rob to get back from class cause he wanted to come downtown with me. I need to look around the music shops for a piano mic holder for my new microphone that I bought. Also have a copy of Dynasty Warriors 4 XL for PS2 that I want to see if I can trade-in for something good. Hmm what else, need to get a few groceries too, Price Chopper has chocolate milk on sale for a $1.00 for a litre. The usual other shops to visit is the old book stores on Water, Cottage Toys on Charlotte, and Chumleighs.

Man I stayed up WAY too late chatting to people last night. Was up til like 4:00am no joke! Not good cause I have a 9:00am class tomorrow morning. I think MSN is to blame, cause it seems whenever I stay up really really late it is because I am chatting on MSN. Not that I minded too much last night though.

You know what I am really in the mood for? I really nice concert to check out. I'm going to look into it cause I am in the mood for one and I know a lot of good artists make a pit stop in Peterborough to play our small venues. I tell ya over the years being here I missed out on the following: Matt Mays, Bedoiun Soundclash, Cowboy Junkies, Great Big Sea, Pilate, Sloan, G-Unit, 2 Live Crew, Lloyd Banks... bunch of others. One I really regret is not going to see David Francey though, he is an awesome Canadian folk singer.

So in my travels downtown i'll be looking out for posters.
